Dish Network subscribers won't see CNN or Cartoon Network when they turn on their televisions this morning
Turner Networks has pulled channels from Dish's programming lineup as a deadline passed for renewing their distribution agreement. The company said Tuesday that Turner refused to extend the overall deal.
"Dish has had a productive relationship with Turner Networks for many years," Warren Schlichting, Dish's senior vice president of programming, said in a statement. "We regret the service disruption to our customers, and remain committed to reaching an agreement that promptly returns this content to Dish’s programming lineup." Read more...
