LONDON — Dramatic footage has emerged of a blaze at a fireworks store in the UK on Thursday evening.

Two people are still missing after the fire in Stafford, in the West Midlands, while another four were injured. Police say one of the injured is in a "poorly condition" while the second is said to be stable after being treated

The video, filmed outside SP Fireworks by Jacob Willcox captures the intensity of the event.

Police have been working through the night coordinating with the family members of the two missing people. A 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

“We have a great deal of sensitive and challenging work to complete in order to allow us to establish the cause of the explosion and following fire. We understand the unit was storing a significant volume of fireworks which appear to have been completely destroyed during the blaze last night. This makes the ongoing examination of the scene particularly challenging and we expect to be at the scene for some time," Supt Ian Coxhead of Staffordshire Police said in a statement. Read more...
