Fans of Brazilian club Corinthians will be able to take their loyalty to the grave after the club revealed plans to open a cemetery for up to 70,000 players.
Not only will the plot house fans who stump up anywhere between $1,870 and $3,240 for the privilege of a resting place at the cemetery, but former players will also be buried there.
They're not alone, according to the BBC:
The cemetery will have function rooms, landscaped gardens, a restaurant, a lake and a nature reserve, said Ricardo Polito, chief executive of the company in charge of the project.
Correspondents say Corinthians will join a small group of other football clubs that offer exclusive cemeteries, including Boca Juniors from Argentina.
Corinthians are one of the best-supported clubs in Brazil, and with a reported 25 million fans are probably going to have few difficulties filling that plot outside Sao Paulo.
