Two of the top three teams in the Eastern Conference met on Sunday as the Atlanta Hawks took on the Washington Wizards.
The Hawks entered play having won seven straight and nine of their last 10. Washington entered with a three-game winning streak of its own as the two squads jockeyed for supremacy.
