A clock that has lay dormant in the skies of Melbourne for six years mysteriously lit up again Wednesday night.
The iconic Nylex Clock, which has been in a permanent state of black-out above the traffic on Punt Road, Richmond, since 2009, came to life at midnight Wednesday for a short period. The clock showed the temperature and the time — an hour behind due to daylight savings — when it was revived.
Speculation hit fever-pitch on Thursday regarding who had flicked the switch and how, as commuters were shocked by the sight on their early morning commutes. Read more...
