Australia's Prime Minister Tony Abbott has been the butt of every joke to do with knightmares this week, after he decided it was a jolly good idea to give an Australian knighthood to the Queen's husband, Prince Philip

But far from a joke, many commentators are now predicting the issue has taken a serious turn with rumblings in Abbott's coalition government.
