Apple will stream its Sept. 9 event live on the Internet, the company has announced.
The company put up a dedicated page on its website on Thursday, complete with a countdown to when the event is scheduled to start, 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday, Sept. 9. Apple promises both live video from the event plus "a whole lot more."
As with previous Apple events, there are limitations to who can access the stream. Viewers will need to watch the stream in Safari (version 5.1.10 or later) on either a Mac running OS X (10.6.8 or later) or any iPhone, iPad or iPhone touch running iOS 6 or later. Sorry, iPad 1 owners. Read more...
