Study Finds Online Daters Marry Less, Break Up More

Looking for love online? Don't get too excited by dating sites' success stories. According to a new study, couples who meet online are less likely to get married, and more likely to split up


"Is Online Better Than Offline for Meeting Partners? Depends: Are You Looking to Marry or to Date?" analyzed data from another study called "How Couples Meet and Stay Together." Researchers from the latter study surveyed 4,002 adults across the United States in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013 — of those, 3,009 had a spouse or significant other
