AMC is looking to get more life out of The Walking Dead.
The network Friday said it has ordered a pilot that would expand the universe into a new series. Creator Robert Kirkman wrote the pilot along with Sons of Anarchy producer Dave Erickson. Executive producers Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert are also involved with the new project, which will show what's going on during the zombie apocalypse in "other parts of the world," the network said.
