First person to be treated for Ebola in the U.S.: Dr. Kent Brantly

Brantly was diagnosed with the current strain of Ebola while still in Liberia in late July. He had been treating Ebola patients there while working for a charity, Samaritan's Purse. He was then flown to the United States in early August in a specially equipped plane and treated at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Read more...
