Things got heated early between the Cardinals and Dodgers.
In the third inning of Game 1 of the National League Division Series, St. Louis ace Adam Wainwright plunked Los Angeles outfielder Yasiel Puig.
Puig calmly walked to first, but Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez started jawing with Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina.
From there, both benches cleared in this highly-contested matchup.
The Cardinals are currently clinging onto a 10-8 lead in the ninth inning.
