The Kansas City Royals could be looking at an ALDS without one-third of their brilliant bullpen trio.
Reliever Kelvin Herrera reportedly injured his right forearm during Game 1 against the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday night, per Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times:
He appeared in the bottom of the seventh inning but was removed after throwing five pitches. He made way for rookie Brandon Finnegan, per Andy McCullough of The Kansas City Star:

In 70 appearances during the regular season, Herrera posted a 4-3 record with a 1.41 earned run average. He appeared for 1.2 innings during the Royals' Wild Card Game win over the Oakland Athletics, giving up one earned run on four hits.
In the event Herrera does miss a major chunk of the series and possibly the postseason, Kansas City would be in serious trouble. One of the Royals' biggest assets is their bullpen.
While the team would still have Wade Davis and Greg Holland at the end of the game, it leaves major question marks as to how manager Ned Yost would fill the void left by Herrera.
