Vocalist Sam Smith took the already somber classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and stripped it down to a single, gloomy vocal, accompanied by piano. Presented in a moody, one-shot studio video for added effect

In a musical world of stacked harmonies and in-your-face choruses, it's refreshing to hear Smith's single vocal track take the lead, even if it just made us all incredibly sad.
