Using the high profile of the IFA conference in Berlin as a launch pad, Dell announced the Latitude 13 7000, a laptop that can be transformed into a tablet computer.
Called a "2-in-1" device by Dell, the computer's 13-inch screen can be detached to allow the user to leave the weight and bulk of the laptop's keyboard behind.
The laptop-meets-tablet hybrid approach to mobile seems to be a developing theme at this year's IFA, with Acer rolling out a similar hybrid device at IFA earlier in the week
Available with either an Intel Core M or Core M vPro processor, up to 512GB of solid-state drive (SSD) space and up to 8GB of RAM, the laptop portion of the Latitude 13 7000 comes with a standard touchpad and a backlit keyboard. Read more...
