This play could not have worked out any worse for the Denver Nuggets' Danilo Gallinari .
Not only did he commit a foul on the play, but Gallinari wound up getting posterized by Los Angeles Lakers forward Wesley Johnson. On a play like this, make sure the dunker can't throw it down or get out of the way.
As good as the dunk was, the reaction from the Lakers bench may have been even better. Some of Johnson's teammates couldn't believe what they had just witnessed.
Johnson made the ensuing free throw to complete the three-point play.
Los Angeles fell in overtime 101-94. Johnson had seven points in the loss.
