Police respond to bomb threat at JFK International Airport in New York

New York City police and fire department officials, including a bomb squad, responded to an apparent bomb threat Sunday at John F. Kennedy International Airport, the FDNY confirmed to Mashable


The threat was reportedly made against an incoming American Airlines flight from Barcelona. Reports indicated that an initial search of the plane turned up nothing, with Port Authority police now removing luggage.
