Purdue Boilermakers vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers: Live Blog and Analysis

Nebraska and Purdue may be a new Big Ten rivalry, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a good one.

But for this matchup to pick up steam, the Boilermakers will have to do better than they did a year ago. The Cornhuskers dominated the last meeting between these two squads, coasting to a 44-7 victory on Purdue’s home turf.

With a 3-5 record and only four games left on the schedule, Purdue can’t afford to lose another game.

Neither can Nebraska if it hopes to win the Big Ten. As it stands, the Cornhuskers are 3-1 in conference play, putting them in a tie with Minnesota for first in the Big Ten West.

Nebraska is led by the nation’s leading rusher, Ameer Abdullah, while Purdue features one of the Big Ten’s premier wideouts in Danny Anthrop. Keep it here for live updates and analysis throughout the game. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ABC.
