The 10th matchweek of Spain's top flight brought a new league leader and another clutch of impressive performances, both teamwide and for individuals, giving us plenty of consideration for deserving names to enter our latest player rankings.
Barcelona suffered a second straight defeat, Sevilla lost and Real Sociedad did likewise—and sacked their manager afterward. Real Madrid, meanwhile, won to go top, with Atletico Madrid and Valencia also taking three points.
