One Gonzaga University student found out that it really can be better to be lucky than good.
During a break in Monday night's game against SMU, a student was given a chance to win $500 by taking a shot from half court. That's when craziness ensued.
The student's shot hit the top of the backboard and bounced straight up in the air before cleanly dropping through the basket.
It doesn't matter how the ball went through the hoop. He found a way to get the job done and got to take home the cash as a result.
