David Letterman's sign-off is officially set
CBS announced Wednesday the host, who announced his impending departure in April, will host his final Late Show on May 20
At that time, Letterman will have hosted 6,028 episodes of late night TV, a figure that includes his time on NBC
"David Letterman has given to all of us a remarkable legacy of achievement and creative brilliance that will never be forgotten,” said Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of the CBS Corporation, in a release.
