Two 'Star Trek' Halloween costumes reveal one man's recovery from cancer

From Jean-Luc Picard to William Riker: Here's a story about beating cancer, Star Trek-style.


On Halloween night, Annalee Horne tweeted a photo of her friend and roommate, Tom Schutt, who recently beat cancer. Schutt, a high school math teacher in Washington, D.C., dressed as Captain Picard and Commander Riker from the Star Trek franchise for two consecutive Halloweens in 2013 and 2014
