St. Louis Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers: Live Score and Analysis for St. Louis

The St. Louis Rams (2-5) will take on the San Francisco 49ers (4-3) on Sunday for the second matchup between these two NFC West rivals this season. Kickoff is at 4:05 p.m. ET on Fox for local broadcasting and channel 712 for DirecTV .

The Rams suffered a 31-17 loss to the 49ers during their Week 6 encounter, but the game was much closer than the score indicates.

Austin Davis and the Rams offense had the ball in the final minutes with San Francisco leading by just seven points, but the potential game-winning drive resulted in a pick-six, which allowed the 49ers to finish with a two-score lead.

This time, the Rams will lack the home-field advantage that allowed them to keep that game close. St. Louis will be on the road in San Francisco—the first game at the new Levi's Stadium between these two rivals—and it will undoubtedly be a steep, uphill battle for the Rams.

49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick passed for a career-high 343 yards the last time he faced the Rams. St. Louis has been better against the run in recent weeks, but the young secondary will once again be an issue for the Rams against the San Francisco aerial attack.

If the St. Louis pass rush can come alive and throw off the 49ers' passing game, it will slow the San Francisco offense to a crawl. The young Rams cornerbacks need all the help they can get from the defensive line.

On offense, Davis must avoid costly turnovers and produce his best game of the season. Additionally, the Rams need to get rookie running Tre Mason more touches, as he's been excelling in recent weeks.

As you follow the game, be sure to follow along for live commentary and analysis throughout the game. After the conclusion of the game, check back to see the grades for each St. Louis unit.
