The Last of Us's PlayStation 4 re-release will offer fans not only improved gameplay, but also lots of bonus features and pack-ins, developer Naughty Dog revealed.
Sony offered its first hands-on opportunity with The Last of Us Remastered in New York this week, showing off the enhanced graphics of the one of 2013's biggest games.
The Last of Us Remastered offers much crisper views than the previous version, which already seemed like it had put PlayStation 3 hardware to the test. Naughty Dog marketing manager Eric Monacelli pointed out several portions in the game where textures needed to be redrawn to accommodate the PlayStation 4's improved GPU; pictures on the walls or news clippings were much sharper than they had been previouslyThere was also less motion blur when you moved the camera quickly; all the edges of the environments were crisp.
