There could soon be a lot less news that fits to print
The New York Times is mulling a shorter, cheaper print edition as it seeks to find the sweet spot between content that subscribers want and what they're willing to pay for.
The Times has shown a recent willingness — through new subscription apps like NYT Now and NYT Opinion — to trim its massive content offering for customers at certain price points in pursuit of fresh revenue.
