Germany's World Cup victory culminated in a glorious homecoming in Berlin.
The team flew back on Monday after winning Sunday's final against Argentina.
And arriving into the capital on Tuesday morning, they found that hundreds of thousands of people were on hand to meet them.
The team's official Twitter feed showed Philipp Lahm getting off the plane with the trophy raised aloft (above).
Team-mate Mesut Ozil tweeted from the same vantage point to show who was waiting at the steps of the plane:
finally arrived in Berlin! :-) #Siegerflieger #WorldChampios #GER http://ift.tt/1mddzUi
