British Open 2014 Leaderboard: Day 2 Scores, Results and Analysis

The 2014 Open Championship is off to a roaring start.

Rory McIlroy has a one-stroke lead as he heads into the second round, and he hopes to build his momentum after shooting a six under par 66 on Thursday.

However, McIlroy has plenty of company near the top of the leaderboard. Italy's Matteo Manassero is one stroke behind, while top-ranked Adam Scott, Jim Furyk and Sergio Garcia are in the group that is two strokes behind at four-under.

Tiger Woods is three strokes behind after shooting an opening 69. Woods bogeyed the first two holes, but was sharp throughout the rest of the day. He hopes to put himself in position to make a run at the Claret Jug with a strong showing today.

The second round begins shortly, and we will be here at 2:30 a.m. ET to detail how it unfolds.
