Barcelona have continued to work the transfer market this summer with aplomb, with the recent capture of Jeremy Mathieu being the latest addition.
The spending is unlikely to stop there, however, and while Alex Song and Ibrahim Afellay don't have a future at the club, it's unclear at this juncture as to the likelihood of moving them on.
Clearly, this is very much Luis Enrique's side, and there will be no excuses if they do not perform to the level expected.
