Luke Shaw started his career at Southampton after joining their academy when he was eight years old. He made his way up through the ranks, and he was already attracting the attention of Premier League clubs when he was playing for the U18s.
Eleven years after joining Southampton, Shaw was sold to Manchester United for £27 million, with the possibility of the fee rising to £31 million based on his performances for the club.
The young left-back already has three England caps to his name and has just returned from Brazil after making the World Cup squad.
