With plenty of stars still on their summer break after the World Cup, Chelsea's early pre-season schedule is going to a good opportunity for their vast number of youngsters to make an impression on Jose Mourinho.
They were given their first chance this week, traveling to Wycombe Wanderers, where they thrashed the League 2 side 5-0.
Next up is AFC Wimbledon on Saturday before they head into Europe for games against the RZ Pellets and Olimpija Ljubljana next week.
Other tests follow against Vitesse Arnhem, Werder Bremen and Ferencvaros before the club's schedule is concluded with a home fixture against Real Sociedad on Aug. 12.
Come the Sociedad game, Mourinho will undoubtedly have more of his first-team stars playing, so up until that time we bring you five youngsters to look out for during pre-season.
