I know it makes me sound like and old man — something I may or may not be — but I often try to convey to young people that to get paid to do what you love is one of the most magical things you can find. I've been fortunate enough to have had that for most of my adult working life in various forms. Including my work here at Upworthy.
Find that. Or, if you're at the tail end of work life, encourage others to do so. It's one of the secrets to happiness.
