England needed just two minutes to come back from a goal down to Italy, but the excitement of the Daniel Sturridge goal was tempered by an injury to physio Gary Lewin in the celebration.
Lewin was at the bottom of a pile of bodies as Sturridge and the team came together on the touchlines, and as the celebration died down it came to light that he had been hurt.
After several minutes of treatment he was stretchered off, a strange twist in a thrilling clash in Manaus, Brazil.
The BBC, at half-time in their live coverage, confirmed his ankle had been dislocated.
