Like many parents in the wake of a disaster, Steve Walker wanted solutions.
In the aftermath of the 2012 school shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School and the 2013 tornado that struck Moore, Oklahoma, Walker dreamt up a Bodyguard Blanket that he promised would help protect children from a gunman's bullet or falling debris. Local and national news outlets around the country jumped on the story, hailing it as a lifesaving device.
