Florida Gov. Rick Scott is one of the most ardently contrarian governors in the U.S. when it comes to climate science, having directed his state agencies to avoid using terms like "global warming" and "climate change" altogether.
But his skepticism doesn't necessarily mean that nothing is being done to prepare for climate change in Florida, which is the nation's most at-risk state when it comes to global warming-related sea level rise.
