Since President Obama announced historical changes in diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba last month, the island nation has been top of mind as a travel destination. The New York Times even added it to its annual list of places to go.
However, despite the political developments, there's one thing that hasn't changed: Tourism to the island is still banned. Travel is restricted to those with an official government license.
But that could change — popular support seems to be in favor of opening the travel floodgates. Two-thirds of Americans said they support lifting the travel ban to Cuba, according to a poll by CNN. Read more...
