LeBron James Gives Ohio State Football Players 'Beats by Dre' Headphones

As the Ohio State Buckeyes prepare to take on the Oregon Ducks in the first College Football Playoff championship game, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James decided to hook up his favorite team to help them get in the zone.

LeBron gave the Buckeyes players scarlet and grey Beats by Dre headphones prior to the national championship. Considering the headphones aren't cheap, this might seem like an NCAA violation—but apparently, it isn't.

"LeBron helped facilitate the connection with Beats by Dre," an Ohio State spokesperson told Ari Wasserman from Cleveland.com. "The headphones were donated to Ohio State and were distributed within the permissible NCAA limitations on awards."

Regardless, the Buckeyes players are sure to take full advantage of their new headphones as they prepare for Monday's big game.
