I’m all for learning, but let’s be honest — sometimes school sucks. Our public education system is broken, it's spotted with underpaid teachers, frustrated students, a non-inclusive curriculum … yadda, yadda, yadda. But instead of settling for less, some kids think outside the box.
This video is was produced by Clenched Fist Productions, which was also responsible for the ridiculously awesome bumpin’ beats. Sacramento Area Youth Speaks (SAYS) is a program done with the UC Davis School of Education CRESS Center. It empowers students and teachers in a collaborative space. The annual SAYS summit started in 2006 and has been rockin’ ever since.
