Thanks to linebacker Bobby Wagner, the Seattle Seahawks were able to grab a two-possession lead over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX.
On a 3rd-and-9 on the Patriots' first drive of the third quarter, Wagner stepped in front of a Tom Brady pass intended for Rob Gronkowski and came up with a huge interception.
You can see the play below, via Seattle's official Twitter account:
A block in the back against Seattle after the interception pushed the Seahawks back a bit, but they still were able to take over at midfield.
At the time of the interception, Seattle held a three-point lead. The Seahawks took advantage of the good field position to take a two-score lead.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson hit Doug Baldwin—who was wide-open after Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis ran into a referee—in the end zone for a three-yard touchdown, which gave the Seahawks a 24-14 lead.
