'House of Cards' review: Art imitates life as Pussy Riot shines in guest role

Russian punk protest group Pussy Riot's Nadezhda "Nadya" Tolokonnikova and Maria "Masha" Alyokhina played themselves on Season 3 of House of Cards during an intense dinner scene at the White House, where they humiliated fictional Russian President Viktor Petrov.


At the intimate dinner — attended by U.S. President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), first lady Claire Underwood and other politicians — the duo, as well as activist Pyotr Verzilov, interrupted the Kremlin leader's toast before dumping their liquor and shattering their glasses. Read more...
