Every now and then, a team goes the extra mile to make a fan happy, and we're reminded what sports fandom is all about.
Case in point: Michael Monorock , a young New York Giants fan with special needs who received a mystery gift from the team.
As his family read him the card and unveiled the gifts of an official team hat, book, Super Bowl DVD, lanyard and shirt, Michael could barely contain his excitement. He immediately had to spread the news.
