The New York Knicks host the Los Angeles Lakers for a Sunday matinee at Madison Square Garden.
Los Angeles (13-34) surprised the Chicago Bulls 123-118 last time out, earning its first win after Kobe Bryant sustained a season-ending injury. Jordan Hill tallied 26 points and 12 rebounds in the Lakers victory.
New York (9-38) allowed the Indiana Pacers to shoot 53.2 percent from the field Thursday evening in a loss. Nevertheless, the Knicks have won four of their last six games.
This is the first season meeting between the tradition-heavy franchises. Los Angeles and New York split the series during the 2013-14 campaign.
Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET and will be televised on TWC SN and MSG. Bleacher Report will provide scoring updates and in-game reaction. Please add your thoughts in the comments section.
