President Obama took a break from his vacation in Martha's Vineyard on Thursday to address the "violent turn" of events in Ferguson, Missouri
"I know that many Americans have been deeply disturbed by the images that we’ve seen in the heartland of our country," Obama said. "I'd like us to take a step back."
Obama then called the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown "heartbreaking and tragic." The president then spoke about the friction that's arose between police and protesters over the past four days as a result of Brown's death
