Manuel Pellegrini's men got the win over West Ham that ensured they held off Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool in the title race.
The relegation picture was pretty clear even before kick-off, and the expected was confirmed as Norwich City joined Fulham and Cardiff City in slipping out of the top flight.
