Red Wings vs. Lightning: Game 2 Live Score, Highlights for 2015 NHL Playoffs

The Detroit Red Wings drew first blood in their best-of-seven series against the favored Tampa Bay Lightning with a 3-2 win Wednesday night, and we'll bring you live coverage Saturday of the crucial second game of their Eastern Conference playoff matchup.

Luke Glendening's short-handed goal just under six minutes into the third period put the Red Wings up for good, and Petr Mrazek stopped 44 of 46 shots to justify coach Mike Babcock's decision to start the rookie over veteran netminder Jimmy Howard.

The Lightning, considered one of the favorites to emerge from a top-heavy Eastern Conference, probably feel they deserved a better result. They outshot Detroit by a lopsided 46-14 margin, but goals from Brian Boyle and Nikita Nesterov weren't enough to lead them to a home win.

Tampa Bay will look to even the series and avoid an 0-2 hole heading to Detroit on Tuesday night.

Live coverage will begin at 3 p.m. ET.

You can watch live on NBC.
