Nigeria's next president won't say if abducted girls can be rescued

More than two hundred high school girls are still missing in Nigeria, 365 days after militant stormed their school, and authorities seem to getting nowhere in securing their release


Militant Islamist group Boko Haram abducted 276 girls from a boarding school in Chibok in Nigeria's restive north last year on April 14, 2014, an incident that inspired international outrage; a year later, the spotlight has moved on


The #BringBackOurGirls rallying cry that once drew in millions of messages of solidarity has gone quiet, and little progress has been made in the search for the girls
