The New York Knicks and Orlando Magic combined to make history Saturday, but not really the kind of history of which either team will be proud.
In the second quarter, New York and Orlando scored a total of 15 points, which is the lowest-scoring quarter in NBA history, per Bleacher Report:
Brian K. Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel felt that such an anemic offensive output shouldn't have been too startling given the Knicks' and Magics' struggles this year:
CBS Sports' Matt Moore countered that there's no reason for scoring just seven points against the moribund Knicks:
Both teams exited the playoff hunt long ago, with fans only able to look forward to the offseason, specifically the NBA draft.
At least Saturday's game gave everybody something to talk about.
