Victims of revenge porn now have a dedicated helpline to call

LONDON — People in the UK who find intimate images of themselves being circulated online now have a phone number to call



Victims of revenge porn can call a helpline to get information about where to find free legal help to get the images removed and find organisations who offer support


The announcement from the Minister for Women and Equalities comes ahead of Safer Internet Day on Tuesday, an initiative to get people using the Internet in a more responsible way


The helpline is a pilot programme, which will operate for a year working with law enforcement and media companies to remove the content where possible Read more...
