A shooting spree gripped the small Missouri town of Tyrone Thursday night, leaving at least eight people dead, including the gunman, local authorities said.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol officer confirmed to the Houston Herald that the alleged shooter is a 36-year-old man who has yet to be named. Police found a ninth body of an elderly woman who appears to have died from natural causes during their investigation, according to CBS.
The victims were killed in multiple locations, and police confirmed at least four crime scenes in Texas County, which has a population of roughly 26,000. The killer was found dead in a vehicle in nearby Shannon County from what may be a self-inflicted wound, according to KY3 Read more...
