When Apple first previewed iOS 8 back in June, app extensions, which opened up all kinds of new possibilities for developers, became one of the most talked about features.
Since then, custom keyboards and notification widgets have gotten most of the attention, while the equally powerful sharing extensions — which can share content between multiple apps — have been more overlooked.
A new app, Mail to Self, highlights why those extensions are so cool. The app creates an extension that allows you to send links to yourself with the touch of a single button.
