Kobe Bryant didn't get a call from the referee at a crucial moment in Sunday's game against the Toronto Raptors, so he took matters into his own hands.
With the Los Angeles Lakers trailing the Raptors, 101-100, late in the fourth quarter, the Black Mamba essentially stopped playing while waiting for the ref to call a foul on Toronto. No call came, so Bryant shook off the contact and made a play.
The Black Mamba ended up putting a nice crossover on the Raptors' Terrence Ross to create separation and then hit a jumper.
Oh, the referees ended up calling a foul on Ross on the shot, which only seems fitting.
We don't know what was said in this conversation between Bryant and Raptors ambassador Drake, but we hope the Black Mamba brought up the play above.
Bryant recorded a triple-double (31 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds) in the Lakers' 129-122 overtime victory over the Raptors.
