Noel Leaves Game vs. Hornets
Saturday, April 4
The Sixers are building for the future as is, so any subtraction from their lineup shouldn't be too devastating provided Noel isn't severely hurt. It's discouraging that Noel, with a past that features a torn ACL in his only collegiate season at Kentucky, is out of action again.
This injury sounds minor, so it shouldn't have a lasting impact moving forward. The 76ers don't hold playoff hopes, but it would be beneficial for the team to finish the season with its young big man on the floor.
The 76ers have been one of the NBA's worst teams throughout the season but have shown flashes of the future. Noel is a huge part of that, as his presence on the defensive end shows through night in and night out. He averages more than eight rebounds and nearly two blocks per game.
